Revenge actress Emily VanCamp is set to star as the lead female character, Sharon Carter, in the Captain America sequel, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” VanCamp will act as the romantic interest of Captain America, the alter-ego of character Steve Rogers.

The film will hit theaters in 2014 with many of the same faces we saw in the first film. Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Colbie Smulders, and Toby Jones will reprise their roles from Captain America.

Sebastian Stan will continue his villainous role as Bucky Barnes who transforms into the Winter Soldier in the upcoming film. Siblings Anthony & Joe Russo will be directing the film.
