Spanx has become a mainstay in the wardrobe of celebrities, working women and housewives. It is the not so secret covert underpinning of my outfits, especially when I don body-con dresses. With so many flocking to the hosiery department to pick up a pair of these body slimmers, the logical thing for the Georgia based company was to open a brick-and-mortar store. In their quest to slim and smooth every woman in America, and around the world, Spanx has opened its first store in Virginia.
The new Spanx store at Tysons Corner Center (on level 2E next to Bloomingdale’s and LL Bean), will offer everything available on its website, including bras, shapers, hosiery, active, men’s and more. Having a brick-and-mortar store allows women to actually touch and feel the shapers and try the products as well as get consultation on the right smoother for problem areas from the expert Transformation Team.
The brand plans on opening several standalone stores nationwide, with the next two opening in King of Prussia and Westfield Garden State Plaza.
