With the success of Urban Decay’s Naked palette comes an expanded color cosmetics and foundation. Aside from the eyeshadow quads that included in the collection, we’re most excited about the Urban Decay Naked Skin range, a line of foundations free of parabens and oils that gives the look of airbrushing with optical blurring pigments and skin nutrients.
Yes all those big words just mean that this new Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup has a weightless formula that will provide medium-to-full coverage and antiwrinkle benefits. It even has peptides, green tea, vitamin E to promote collagen production and counteract free radicals. It comes in 18 shades, good news for fair skin and dark skin consumers, and will cost $38.
Urban Decay will also launch additional Naked skin care items including two limited-edition eye shadow palettes for the upcoming Disney movie “Oz: The Great and Powerful.” Each Urban Decay ‘Build Your Own palettes’ – launching in February – will feature the “first ever split-pan eye shadows” and four exclusive shades to recreate the look of Glinda and Theodora, played by Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis. Included in the palettes are an Super Saturated Lip Color and a travel size 24/7 eyeliner in a collectable-refillable tin that represents each witch.
