Chanel Opens First Beauty Pop-up in London

July 24, 2012

Why does London have to get all the good stuff this summer? Sure the Olympics are being held there but that doesn’t mean they get to experience all the cool things fashion has to offer.  For starters, Karl Lagerfeld’s Olympic capsule collection launched today at Selfridges, the same time Chanel also unveiled it’s very first beauty pop-up shop.  Located  in London’s Covent Garden, the 613-square-foot boutique will house Chanel’s complete skin care, makeup and fragrance collections.

That’s not all! Chanel has partnered with several fashion publications to host private events in the bouque, including manicures nail artists Marian Newman and Sophy Robson.  We wonder if they’ll be creating that ultra cool modern French manicure from the brand’s Fall ’12 couture show.  Clients can make manicure appointments in the downstairs salon and will even get early previews of Chanel’s beauty collections.  So jealous! Can’t make it to London during the Olympics to check out the pop-up? Don’t fret! The boutique will stay open until December 31. You’re welcome!
