American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez’s love affair with Zuhair Murad’s flashy and sexy creations continues this summer. The designer will be creating Lopez’s costumes for her upcoming summer tour, which kicks off June 15th in South America. Murad was in Los Angeles last month to fit her for the six looks for the tour, which comes to the U.S. on July 14th.
J.Lo has developed a close relationship with the Beirut based designer, who was the mastermind behind her two Academy Awards dress as well as several of her ensembles for her appearance on American Idol. She first wore the one of Murad’s dresses to the 2011 Met Gala.
Murad is pulling out all the stops for J.Lo’s costumes. Her wardrobe will a several short dresses, a bodysuit, a jumpsuit, and a feathered skirt and hat. The piece de resistance will be a nude silk tulle dress with thousands of hand-sewn red beads in a flame pattern and a matching chiffon robe.
