After a three year hiatus, Time magazine is relaunching its fashion glossy, Time Style & Design. The renewed intrest in reintroducing the magazine comes at a time when advertisers aren’t as cautious about buying media placements as they were three years ago, when the market was tougher and even prominent magazines were struggling to fill their ad pages. The bi-annual magazine’s spring issue features actress Emily Blunt, in a black hat (Balenciaga?) and pink lipstick on the cover.
Time Style & Design is targeted toward affluent men and women with a median age of 49.5 and a higher than average income bracket. The first issue will cover fashion, art and design with a profile of footwear and accessories designer Christian Louboutin, a feature on artist Nick Cave and a story about identical-twin opera directors Christopher and David Alden.
