Excited for the The Hunger Games is quickly reaching a fever pitch as its starlets and leading men grace the red carpets at premieres worldwide. Elizabeth Banks and Jennifer Lawrence, who play Effie Trinket and Katniss Everdeen, respectively, sizzled at the London premiere last night.
Banks wore a canary yellow gown with a generous plunging back by Bill Blass for the event. For her arrival, Banks wore a three quarter sleeve white mink jacket with suede inserts by J.Mendel.
The back of Banks’ dress was a surprise worth waiting for. The actress turned and posed for photographers, revealing a sexy, toned back. Complementing her outfit was a gold minaudiere, nude peep-toe slingbacks and rainbow moonstone earrings by Irene Neuwirth.
Jennifer Lawrence continued her gold streak with a gold halter gown by American designer Ralph Lauren. The one of a kind dress, according to Ralph Lauren, took over 800 hours to painstakingly stitch beads together to create the crocodile skin effect of the dress.
