I wasn’t sure what to expect from Taylor Swift’s Vogue editorial for the February issue but one thing I was definitely sure of was that she would not be wearing any of her usual silhouettes and neutral color palettes. Not if Anna or Grace had anything to do with it. The images have surfaced on the Vogue website and my oh my high fashion really does look good on the blond country starlet. The country themed shoot (had to be country no?) showcases Taylor in some pretty out of the box ensembles that suit her very well.
Fans will dig her in pieces by Rodarte, fierce rose print Miu Miu boots, accessories from Andrew Marc, Patricia Underwood, Ray-ban, Monique Péan and Carlos Falchi. Kudos to Mario Testino for capturing a more grown-up and fashion forward side of Taylor while keeping her still recognizable.
