There’s a new store in town that has been receiving so much buzz that I had to go in to see for myself. For starters, it’s called C. Wonder and its owned by Tory Burch’s ex-husband Chris Burch, whose mission is to offer women fabulously preppy clothing, shoes and accessories at recession friendly prices. No $300 shoes or $450 blazers here ladies. I went to the store, located on Spring Street & Crosby Street in Soho, on Sunday with my friend Jill.
There is so much eye candy in the store that my credit card was begging to walk out of my wallet and directly into the hands of one of the helpful sales associates. I wanted one of everything in the store but what really made me swoon were the perfect pumps in an assortment of gorgeous colors. At $128, I wanted to get one of each color. The pumps can be decorated with crystal charms to zoosh them up a bit more. They are not available online just yet but you can get them in the store. C.Wonder has plans of expanding nation-wide with 20 to 50 stores in the near future.
