Vogue Nippon’s Anna Dello Russo brings her chic European style to Macy’s as guest editor-at-large for the department store’s contemporary line INC International Concepts. Heralded as one of the most stylish women in the world, Ms. Dello Russo styled several Fall/Winter 2011 looks reminiscent of a modern day Jackie Kennedy. Statement pieces like a pink swing coat, a persimmon colored peacoat, color blocked tunics and faux fur cropped jackets made the cut. Of course the cannot miss item was the bow shaped sunglasses adorning the faces of each model. Though Ms. Dello Russo was not in attendance, her image was emblazzoned all over the walls of the Open House Gallery space on Mulberry Street, where editors and celebs were invited to check out the collection.
Celebrities in attendance included Solange Knowles, with her darling son Julez in tow; stylist June Ambrose, who rocked gold Rodarter wedges with a white shift dress; socialite Genevieve Jones; Rio and Harley Viera-Newton; Allie Rizzo; Chelsea Leyland and Sky Ferreira, who DJ’d the party.
