The long awaited video of Beyonce’s new single Run the World (Girls) was finally released last night, after debuting during American Idol and what a treat. For weeks, Beyonce’s staff and crew working on the video had been leaking photos of the fashions from the set, getting us all excited for the video release, which Beyonce pushed back a bit because she wanted to perfect the visuals. Beyonce rallies all the girls for a showdown against an all boy army dressed in the hottest couture pieces. Could we expect anything less?

Beyonce’s stylist Tyrone Hunter really outdid himself with this video, which features fashions from Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2010 collection, Emilio Pucci Spring 2010, LaureLuxe Metal couture head pieces, LaRuicci fingernail rings and earrings and a whole of Bey’s favorite designer, Gareth Pugh.
