Hello spring, is that you? I am so ready for shorter hemlines, lighter fabrics and open toe sandals. Today’s look is what I’d wear for a brunch date or a weekend jaunt in the Hamptons. The denim skirt is from Old Navy and the price can’t be beat. At just $35 and available in sizes 0 to 30, this skirt is that closet staple you’ll reach for over and over again all spring and summer long. I styled the skirt with this romantic floral top from Banana Republic and kept the accessories neutral or in the same color palette to keep it from looking too busy. The layered necklace or hat act as my third piece. Drop the hat if you feel like you can’t pull it off, even though I know you certainly can. It can’t be spring if I didn’t include a rattan bag. This structured Birkin-esque bag is from Lily & Bean and is a fraction of the price of Hermes.
