I hope you had a fabulous weekend because I certainly did. Today is a very special day because Blair Eadie of the blog Atlantic-Pacific is launching her fifth and final collection for Nordstrom. Her fall collection does not disappoint. Staying through to her style DNA, this collection is infused with so much color texture and prints.
The Atlantic-Pacific X Halogen collection is currently live on the Nordstrom website and yours truly has already snagged things on her wishlist. Yes I am talking about myself in the third person. Blair was kind enough to include me in her launch announcement and we did a fun launch party last week where she walked everyone through the entire collection. Watch the event here if you missed it.
Of course if money were no issue, I would definitely buy one of everything in this collection. Since my funds are limited, I got six items that are going to be versatile in my wardrobe, as well as work very well with other pieces from her past collections.
I was fortunate enough to receive some of the pieces ahead of time for her launch event, including the pink Mia cape coat (comes in standard and plus sizes), the pleated pink skirt, the teal croc embossed shift dress, the sharp collar shirts and these soft darling sweaters. But upon previewing the collection, I had six other items that I definitely had to have in my closet.\
I showed two of the outfits on my Instagram page last week and so many of you asked me to do a try-on session or at least give you my top picks for must haves in Blair‘s collection. So without further ado, here are my favorites.
If you’re looking for a statement piece or something to give you that elevated feel, my top pick would be the Mia cape coat. I love the color and it goes with everything in my closet. Whether you’re a color lover or want to just get started with incorporating color, this coat is a must have. The gold buttons elevate this cape to another level. Pair this with denim or a neutral pant if you are color shy.
I love this croc embossed shift dress, which comes in both a teal and the most decadent chocolate colorway. The dress is lined and has a bit of room for layering sweaters like this cozy one when the weather cools down. It goes with so many things I already own as well as the sweaters and button downs in Blair’s collection.
I’m also smitten with the button down puff sleeve shirts in the collection. The sharp collar makes this piece so luxe. I was in the market for a colorful peacoat and this double breasted one checked off all the right boxes. It also comes in a camel color that is sure to be a classic.
I bought six items today from the collection. The argyle sweater is so darling and comes in two colorways. The ivory/navy/brown argyle will go with this navy Eloquii leather skirt in my closet. I love rich fabrics in the fall/winter so of course I had to get the leopard jacquard dress. It also comes in a dainty blouse version but the dress just spoke to me. I got the plaid tights since I am such a sucker for printed tights as well as the red sweater to go with my Atlantic-Pacific Red Midi Skirt from Blair’s holiday 19 collection.
