Don’t you just love it when you get something personalized as a gift from friends? It definitely shows how much thought they put into getting you a gift. So for the holidays, I‘ve curated a list of personalized gifts that I would love to give to friends and family. These gifts are for those who plan ahead. Some might need to be ordered a few weeks in advance so if you like anything on here, I suggest you click now to purchase and customize them in time for holiday gifting.
First on the list is this ice bucket from Mark & Graham. I love that you can customize it with the initials name of whoever you want to give it to. For me, it’s the perfect gift for newlyweds. I’ll most likely include a bottle of Moet et Chandon so they can celebrate their union.
I have one of these market tote bags from Apolis and it is one of my favorite bags to carry for grocery shopping. You can customize the bags with all sorts of phrases, names, cities or even your Instagram handle. It also comes in different sizes and shapes. It’s perfect for the gal or guy who frequents the Union Square fresh market or any farmer’s market for that matter.
The next one on my list is this personalized phone case from Casify. I love the glitter encased inside the back portion. You can personalize it with names, monograms or Instagram handles for a nice touch.
For the jet setter in your life, I would suggest getting this travel set from Cuyana. I own the black version but I want the pink colorway as well hint hint! You can monogram it with the gift recipient’s initials for a personal touch. Give them to mom,a travel enthusiast or a rising college student to keep their makeup and beauty products in one place.
Now, for those near and dear to your heart, I suggest this necklace from Mejuri. It’s dainty and perfect to wear by itself or to layer with other pieces. You can customize it with names or initials. I would suggest gifting this to a partner by engraving your name on it so they can wear it close to their hearts, or for a new mom by customizing it with the name of their newborn.
An item I often give to friends, especially newlyweds, is this Tiffany & Co. Classic Square Decanter. It is only $175 and comes the classic Tiffany blue box. It takes two weeks to get the custom engraving, maybe longer around the holiday. So I suggest you purchase now in order to get it before Christmas. The decanter looks very chic as an addition to the liquor cabinet. Fill it with your favorite spirits like Hibiki or Blanton’s Bourbon.
If the next person on your wish list treasures their morning coffee ritual, I suggest a pretty monogrammed mug like this one from Anthropologie. I love the gold accent, which makes it look more expensive than it really is.
I love Jo Malone scents so much that I wouldn’t mind receiving this gift myself. All their perfumes can be personalized on their website. But again, you need to buy it now to get a monogrammed before the holidays.
Next on my list for personalized gifts is this YSL lipstick. You can get certain lipsticks monogrammed or customized with different phrases or names. So for the beauty lover, I suggest getting a red or neutral shade lipstick to fit their personality. Note, make sure you know the type of colors the gift receiver typically wears because the sale of personalized lipsticks is non-refundable.
Last but not least is something for the decor lover or a new for the newlyweds. This would be a framed print or printed textile to hang in their home. This one is from Crate and Barrel, and it’s the perfect gift to give.
So there you have it, my list of things of personalized Christmas gifts to give or to receive. The only caveat is you need to be able to order them ahead of time so that they can arrive before Christmas.
Stay tuned for more holiday wish lists, and let me know in the comments if you want me to give any suggestions for other categories.
