I’m the type of gal that doesn’t fuss too much with makeup so whenever a new brand launches with the promise of easy makeup that can be finished in 5 minutes, I’m all for it. Carmindy Beauty recently launched as an in-house brand at QVC and I’m here for it. Carmindy was the resident makeup artist on What Not To Wear, one of my fave fashion makeover shows. She knows skin, of all types and tones, and works with each client to give them effortless makeup look without too much fuss.
Carmindy’s mantra is that anyone can find time to do their makeup in the morning and her 5-minute face system is just what the beauty doctor ordered for all my gals out there that get intimidated by makeup. Her line contains two collections to streamline your makeup routine: the Carminidizing Skin System Four-Piece Collection ($70) and the Five-Minute Face Five-Piece Collection ($60). The Carmindy 5-minute Face System comes numbered and perfectly packaged for easy step by step makeup application. Included in the kit is the Carmindizing Highlighter, Into It Eyeliner, I Got You Mascara, At First Blush, and Universal Love Lipstick with a highlighter brush.
I tried her Carmindizing Skin System Four-Piece Collection and I’m in love. The foundation in deep matches my skin perfectly and doesn’t feel too heavy. It comes with a primer, powder and concealer. The foundation comes in 8 shades with the three darker shades being tan, rich and deep. The entire collection is currently exclusively available on QVC, so go check it out!
