Denim is a fabric of our society and a staple in every closet in America. From infant to adult, this rugged piece of America is worn every single day in some corner of the world. So it is baffling when denim all of a sudden becomes a “trend.” I believe everyone should have a few denim clothing in their wardrobe that can dressed up or down. I’ve worn denim skirts since middle school and love that they can be dressed up or down.
I used to own a Ralph Lauren denim skirt that I wore all year round. I finally retired it when the wash faded too much to be acceptable to wear outside. I wore the skirt with everything. I paired it with a tee shirt and sneakers, a silk blouse and espadrilles or cami and a blazer with pumps for casual Fridays. I’ve owned several styles of denim skirts over the years but recently acquired my favorite one yet. It’s an A-line denim skirt and buttons running down the front by Eloquii, one of my favorite plus size brands.
The Eloquii denim skirt is currently sold out but you can add your name to the waitlist when the brand reissues it this spring. I have curated my favorite denim skirts in all sizes below. Before you head off to shop, tell me, how do you style your denim skirts?
