We’ve been in France for the past 20 days and having the time of our lives. We’ve been traveling around the country and wrapping up our tour in Paris. I packed two checked suitcases and one carryon bag worth of clothes and though most of the photos shared on Instagram are of dresses, I’ve been living in jeans while off-duty. I don’t wear denim often but when I do, I prefer skinny jeans with a bit of stretch.
It’s no secret that my favorite jean brand is NYDJ. They make the best pairs of plus size denim. The brand has always created flattering jeans with built-in shapers to sculpt the legs and derriere, creating a slimmer silhouette no matter your size. I have been wearing three of the styles from the Curve360 collection for a few months now and have adopted them as my main jeans for travel. I wear them on flights because they’re not constricting. I usually wear them to run errands, which means they’re paired with sandals, sneakers or low heeled boots.
Come fall, I will be wearing these more with cozier knits and button-down shirts and topped with a blazer or light coat when the weather cools. Until then, my off-duty uniform will be these jeans with a bodysuit or light button down shirt. What are some of your favorite summer uniforms?
