Best Summer Straw Bags for Every Budget

I don’t own a lot of purses but I do get many uses out of the ones I do have.  For spring and summer, my go-to bags are of the straw and wicker variety.  Thanks to the explosion of Moroccan and Balinese bags all over social media, retailers are quickly meeting the demands of consumers – fashionistas to be exact, who are clamoring for arm candy.  Straw, raffia, wicker, and bamboo bags are go-to’s for French and African women.  Jane Birkin was a big fan of basket bags before getting a Hermes bag named after her.

I get asked a lot on Instagram about places I shop for the bags I wear often so I decided to do a round-up of my favorite summer straw bags at all price points.  It took a while to put this post together but it was so worth it because I have both classic and trendy summer straw bags as well as wicker and raffia. I took this cute wicker basket bag I purchased on Amazon for $35 with me to France.

I fell in love with this Kayu Pinata bag earlier this year.  I bought the red and pink colorway, which is sold out.  Kayu has other colorways for their Pinata bag.  It’s such a fun bag to carry and I love the drawstring closure to keep my belongings intact during transit. I have worn this bag to death but I refuse to put it down.
