White Sunglasses for Summer

Summer, Summer, Summertime!! Okay so summer is about a month away but I can’t help but dream of warm weather, a cool beach and a cold brew in hand. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll notice a running theme throughout my feed, WHITE SUNGLASSES! I’m kind of obsessed with the bug eyed, over sized white frames and with good reason: they pop on my dark skin tone. White sunglasses make such a statement, especially in the summer time. They go with every. single. outfit. I own several pairs, which have been in rotation for the past few months. Yea, I couldn’t wait for summer. I needed them now.

As much as I love my sunnies, I tend to lose them when I’m out and about. Which is why I try not to splurge on them because there’s nothing more painful than loosing a pair of $500 sunglasses. I have several pairs of expensive sunglasses I wear on occasion but for the most part, I spend under $25 for most of the ones I wear often. The only criteria I need for my sunglasses to have is UV protection. After all, I have to protect my eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. With Memorial Day just a few days away, I wanted to dedicate a post just for white sunglasses and suggest a few options, including the ones I frequently wear for your consideration.

I’m a big fan of Sunglass.LA, an affordable label that offers fashion forward sunglasses and some designer dupes for under $20. They constantly have sales so I usually nab my glasses for under $10. Le Specs is another brand I love. Most of their sunglasses are under $60 but they have designer collaborations with styles that retail for about $129.
