I’ve never met a print I didn’t like, especially stripes. Growing up in Ghana, the Ankara print was the fabric of choice for every day wear. I have lived life in print since I can remember and there is no way of stopping me from wearing them. With spring rearing it’s beautiful head on Tuesday, I thought it time to put together my favorite prints all week long.
I’m kicking off Monday with stripes, the bold print that screams warm weather is here like no other. The nautical feel of bold stripes in navy and white combo makes me yearn for weekend in Martha’s Vineyard or the Hamptons. I’ve loved and lived in stripes for a while. Curvy girls, do not shy away from wearing stripes. My style tip would be to opt for vertical stripes on body parts you want elongated. It’s all about illusion.
