Men and cars go hand-in-hand like peanut butter and jelly. A guy and his car! Isn’t that how it goes? But what about the girls? Girls love cars too. Growing up in the suburbs of Arlington, Va., I dreamed of my dream car as soon as I got my license at the age of 16. A gorgeous red Mazda Protege, this car took me from soccer practice to college and spring breaks galore.
Now a New Yorker, the only time I drive is when I go on press trips with auto companies or back home to my parents house in Virginia. I drive occasionally when I snag myself a Zipcar for an impromptu trip to the Hamptons in the summer time. But I digress.
The New York International Auto Show is coming to town next week and they’re showing some love to the ladies with a Girls Night Out on April 14th. Will you be there? I will!
