Katya Leonovich Fall 2014 RTW Collection

February 21, 2014

Katya Leonovich

Womenswear designer Katya Leonovich, known for her “Beautiful Garbage” concept of designing, combined a series of fabrics, techniques and shapes in her Fall 2014 RTW collection. Her Russian origins were well represented through the sheer drama of the collection, particularly through her use of metallic armour-type pieces.

Her pieces were elegant, sophisticated and edgy. A notable metallic silver suit and short blue, low cut dress were definitely highlights, however each piece was fantastic. Much of the collection seemed reserved for cocktails and parties, but the sharp and unique cuts and gorgeous range of fabrics are well suited for any fashion conscious individual.
