Sarah Jessica Parker’s much buzzed about SJP shoe label launches February 28th and up until today, the only image we’d seen was the black patent pointed to pump with a diagonal strap that looked eerily like my Guess pumps and an ode to the Manolo Blahnik ‘Campari’ Mary Jane pumps.
Today, Glamour magazine released five more images from the Sex and the City actress’ collection and I have to say I am loving everything. Sure there is nothing unique about the shoes in the SJP line, we’ve seen most of the silhouettes. But the shoes are classic and timeless additions I am excited to get in my closet and onto my feet.
There is the ‘Carrie’ a nude t-strap Parker says, “I’m privileged that I played her,” she says. “I was exposed to so many beautiful shoes and to how they’re made. That role really cemented my love.”
The collection will be available in Norstrom stores and online February 28th. Which ones are you excited to snag Glamazons?
- The Carrie: “Carrie is obviously one of my favorite people, and this is an ode to her. It’s a strong shoe that can be worn for day and night.” ($355)
- “The Alison: This is for the girl who doesn’t want to wear a traditional ladylike heel but wants a bit of height.” ($485)
- The Etta: “This one is for short ladies like me! I made the T-strap lower to lengthen the leg.” ($425)
- The Lady: “This shoe is polite and old-fashioned. It suits a wide range of women with its simple silhouette.” ($350)
- The Billie: “I imagine every woman in these. They’re comfy and chic, especially with the low-cut front.” ($195)
