I am a sucker for scarves. Silk, cotton, linen, you name it, I’ll rock it. As a woman of color, scarves are part of my daily routine. I have to wrap my head at night to prevent hair breakage and to maintain my style. But during the day, I often love using my many scarves as hair accessories.

Womenswear brand Fotini sent me a lovely silk scarf made of the print from their Fall 2013 collection a few weeks ago and though I’ve been wearing it as an accessory to my clothing, I decided to do a tutorial on how to turn your scarf into a hair accessory for those bad hair days.
