GANTGANT Rugger’s Pre-Spring 2014 Collection takes an American male on a European journey. Lead Designer Christian Bastain turned the GANT line into a sophisticated collection that is meant to be explored. The collection is polished, tailored and quite youthful. Bastain blended what he calls ‘Italian flamboyance’ with ‘Scandinavian simplicity’.

Paisley fabric gives GANT’s rugby heritage elegance yearning to be taken around the world in ‘The Traveling the Orient’ theme. A plaid grey suit paired with a denim button down shirt and navy blue jacket makes a sharp look more casual.

The navy blue shorts and blazer combination is a iconic trend perfect for the summer months. It’s the perfect look for the Yale student trying to stay cool while stylish. GANT continues the rugby dressed down look with a blue and red checkered blazer with jeans.

GANT keeps in tow its elegance with fitted suits that appear truly comfortable to wear.  Bold prints are infused into the collection with scarves, pants and jackets. The printed pants with navy blue overcoat and grey hoodie make the thrown on look effortless. An olive military plaid jacket adds character to navy blue fitted pants.

Form fitting pants and trousers unify the Gant pre-spring 2014 collection. But what is great to see is that these pants still have appeal for any man. They aren’t skinny jeans. They are pants that graduates from casual to a tailored look. Should a man want to travel in style, the GANT collection offers many options to do so. It’s a collection that presents many options to mix and match for an assortment of scenes. See the lookbook and video here. Visit GANT’s website here.
