Kate Middleton in Alexander McQueen for Trooping the Colour

Although Kate’s final appearance was on Thursday for the Royal Princess cruise ship christening, she turned out today for the Queen’s Birthday Parade.  The Trooping the Coulour parade started at St. Jame Park with a procession to Buckingham Palace.  Over 1,000 soldier and performers took part in the annual parade honoring the Queen.  Kate, who shared a carriage with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

The royal family moved to the balcony of Buckingham Palace after the processional to watch the Royal Air Force’s famous aerobatic team, the Red Arrows fly over.  Kate wore a custom pale pink coat with a large lapel collar, three quarter sleeves and pearl buttons by Alexander McQueen for the occasion.  She wore the Jane Corbett hat she wore last year to the Queen’s Buckingham Palace Garden Party.  She carried her nude Alexander McQueen clutch and wore the Annoushka pearl earrings to complete her look.

Queen Elizabeth II wore a cobalt blue dress coat by Angela Kelly, which she accessorized with a large diamond oval broach, multi-strand pearl necklace with matching earrings and a blue and white floral hat.
