British label ACIQ is coming out with its debut collection and before it’s unveiled, the video teaser giving me fever. The label has a modern aesthetic with sharp tailored looks reminiscent that parallels Rick Owens and Haider Ackermann. It’s incredibly exciting when a new designer previews such a beautiful pieces, some of which you will get glimpses of in the video (below).
The label consists of a trio of designers, Jessica Chatterton, Yoona Kim and Nickque Patterson, who describe it as:
A core androgynous concept and movement transcending the characteristics associated with man and woman. In a modern world these traits have progressively become blurred, this is something to be celebrated, an emancipation of man- kind.
With a structured fluidity ACIQ garments exploit the extremes of both sexes capturing the residue of silence left between the stereotypes of “man” and “woman”.
