Teamwork Makes The Dream Work: Beauty Brand Teams with NY Yankees and Famous Graffiti Artists to Release Limited Edition Fragrance

April 22, 2013

It’s that time of year again – baseball season. Nothing brings New Yorkers together like Yankees baseball. Time for New Yorkers to stuff themselves into a train car and  make their way up on the B-line to the 161st stop to Yankee Stadium. Imagine stuffing yourself onto that train car or sardined with other bleacher creatures and coming across someone (or it could even be you) that didn’t smell like much of a champion.

Fret not! Incorporate the champions themselves into your beauty regimen with the official New York Yankees limited edition fragrance for men. The Yankees, The Cloudbreak Group and legendary graffiti artists, Mint & Serf have teamed up to bring the limited edition bottle for men. Inspired by the artwork that cover the walls of NYC, graffiti is featured on the front and back of the bottle. The artists wanted to convey the passion they have for the electric city:

“People who know us can tell you that we are both diehard New Yorkers. From Astoria, Queens to Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn to East Tremont Ave in the Bronx to Victoria Blvd in Staten Island, graffiti opened us up to almost every neighborhood in New York City. We live and breathe New York City,” said Mint&Serf. “When it comes to the symbol of New York, there is nothing more iconic and recognizable than the New York Yankees; to think that graffiti we created on the streets of New York will be immortalized alongside the New York Yankees logo is an honor.”

The scent of fresh wood tones, blend of sparkling bergamot, coriander and cool blue sage, crisp ivy leaves, orange flower and geranium, enhanced with rich earthy patchouli, smooth sandalwood and suede make for a masculine scent that would have any woman swoon.

Sold for $85, this limited edition bottle has made its way to shelves on the 15th and is available at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Belk and on and
