Hong Kong based eyewear designer René Chu is about to make a big splash in the U.S. with her quirky yet glamorous sunglasses collection. As you know, I, along with every other blogger, am obsessed with cat related fashion accessories so it’s no wonder I’m obsessed with Chu’s “Make Me Meow” sunnies ($320).
What’s so special about them? For starters, the sunnies come with removable mouse ears so you can wear it as just an oversized wayfarer or more quirky and with more catitude (oh I know you loved that play on words). The other style in Chu’s collection is the ‘Beautiful Monster’ style sunnies ($320), which come with removable horns on the legs of the glasses. Chic n’est-ce pas?
Unfortunately, all styles are sold out but the website indicates there will be a new shipment in May. You know you want to be one of the first people sporting these stunning shades!
