If you’ve read The Hunger Games or seen the movie, you know that stylist Cinna, played by Lenny Kravitz, is a mastermind when it comes to dressing the heroine, Katniss Everdeen to win the approval of the crowds at the Capitol. For her triumphant return to the spotlight after her epic battle with the other districts in The Hunger Games, Katniss and Peta will be touring all the districts and she gets major style help from Cinna, who dresses her in romantic garb to channel the star-crossed lovers bit from the book.
The Capitol has just released Katniss’ official portrait, in which she dons a delicious strapless gown zhushed with layers and layers of chiffon and some sculptural embellishments a the bust. The gown reminds me a bit of Carrie Bradshaw but then again, every heroine needs a statement making piece. Can we just talk about her smokey eye?

Here is the updated synopsis for “Catching Fire”:
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has over 50 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
