Victoria Beckham has always made it clear that her collection will always be lady-like and sophisticated, an aesthetic she has not changed since starting her eponymous label.  For Fall 2013, the British designer showed us what she does best, finely tailored rockabilly dresses for women of all shapes, whether skinny or curvy.  She returned to her British roots with a collection that gave a nod to Saville Row.

“Combining enhanced volumes with new restrained outlines has allowed me to push my silhouette even further,” Victoria Beckham posted to her Facebook page. “For me, it is the application of a refined quality within a mannish modernity that has proved to be such an exciting part of the design process this season.”

So Mrs. Beckham, like her peers, also borrowed from the boys, with men’s suiting fabrics like tweed, plaid and herringbone used in dress coats, short sleeved capes with wide lapels.  The color palette for her collection came in rich purple, Hermes orange, cobalt blue and even subdued colors like putty, black and brown.
