Girls’ writer, director, and actress Lena Dunham wore a custom ombred pink and orange strapless cocktail dress by Thakoon at the 2013 Directors Guild Of America Awards, held in the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles, California. Dunham kept the rest of the look low-key with nude peep-to Jimmy Choo ‘Quite’ pumps and Martin Katz jewelry.
As much as the actress is trying to look posh on the red carpet, she still lands on the worst dressed list. There is something off about this dress. Maybe the bow in the back? Or maybe the silhouette? Either way, we really need all these designers to work with her to create outfits to flatter her figure.
