Lord help us Jessica Chastain is breaking hearts tonight. The Academy Award nominated actress channeled Old Hollywood glamour in a copper-toned silk satin strapless gown by Giorgio Armani. The mermaid silhouette was highlighted by a fitted bodice and abbreviated train.
The dress features a geometric, lattice-patterned mesh overlay of shimmering white sequins and Swarovski
crystals. Chastai, nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her work in Zero Dark Thirty told Ryan Seacreast that she tried on so many dresses but this one felt so right.
“When I saw it, It’s a very happy birthday Mr. President Dress. It reminds me of old hollywood glamour. It was a very tough decision. Last year I was a bit stunned by it. This year I can see clearly now. OMG!” she exclaimed.
Jessica wore vintage Harry Winton gold tone bracelet from the 1960s and diamond earrings. Her granny, who was her date, wore a black Michael Kors gown and Harry Winston jewels.
