After collaborating with some of the biggest names in fashion – Lanvin, Marni, Maison Martin Margiela, Karl Lagerfeld – for some of the most successful and talked about high street collections, Swedish brand H&M announced today it will be showing its fall 2013 collection in Paris during fashion week. H&M and Paris Fashion Week?
Yes you read correctly! H&M is playing with the big boys on the second day of Paris Fashion Week with a runway show to showcase 25 looks from its fall 2013 collection. No word yet as to who will be walking in the show but we’re certain most bloggers and editors will be coveting a spot in the front row for this show.
“In the past we have done fantastic and spectacular events and fashion shows with our designer collaborations and we feel it is time to celebrate our own fashion,” said a spokesperson for H&M.
They February 27th H&M runway show will be held at Musée Rodin, a venue that has hosted designers like Yves Saint Laurent and Dior. That’s how it’s done!
