“Get in loser, we’re going shopping.” Looks like Regina George will be doing more than shopping soon – singing! Tina Fey, writer and director of the film, “Mean Girls,” recently alluded to a Broadway adaptation during an interview with Giuliana Rancic at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
“I’m trying to develop it with my husband, who does all the music for ‘30 Rock’ and I think Paramount’s on board,” Fey said on the Red Carpet at the SAG’s. Fey even told Rancic that she could see pop star Mariah Carey playing Regina George’s mother in the stage adaptation.
Time will tell, but for now, all we can say is – grool!
