Before @DKNYPRGirl and all the flirty, flowy dresses, the DKNY DNA was true to the urban New York of the nineties.  When logos were on trend and many clamored to don DKNY shirts, sweatsuits and street wear.  The brand reinvented itself, turning into a contemporary line for both men and women that we’re still embraced and loved.  Today, however, DKNY announced a return to its roots with a 15-piece capsule collection collaboration with Opening Ceremony.

That’s right! The DKNY of the ’90s returns this Friday at Opening Ceremony stores and online.  Included in the collection are hooded maxi dresses, cropped puffer jackets, logo-stamped bodysuits and t-shirts, NYC-skyline tees and color-block jumpsuits.  It’s going to be a throwback Friday tomorrow and I will be first in line to nab the grey hooded jumpsuit. The piece range in price from $145 to $665 and will be available at Opening Ceremony in New York, Los Angeles, London and Tokyo as well as on openingceremony.us.Models Cara Delevingne, Vashtie Kola, Ian Sharp, and Kim Ann Foxman star in the black and white ad campaign shot by photographer Anthony Maule.
