Congratulations go out to Project Runway judge Nina Garcia, who just got promoted from Fashion Director to Creative Director at Marie Claire.
The announcement comes right on the heels of the appointment of the magazine’s new editor-in-chief Anne Fulenwider. Nina succeeds Suzanne Sykes, who left Marie Claire the position to be Creative Director of Elle UK.
There is no word yet on Nina’s replacement but we’re sure whoever is picked will be fabulous, probably not as fab as Nina. This promotion is very well deserved for Nina.
As of now, Nina has no plans on leaving her position as one of the Project Runway judging trio, which includes designer Michael Kors and model Heidi Klum.
