H&M Is Giving Fans the Chance to Pose with David Beckham in His Underwear

August 14, 2012

H&M knows the ladies love David Beckham, even though his Bodywear collection is meant for men.  To commemorate the unveiling of the second advertising campaign, the Swedish high street brand is giving fans a chance to pose with the David Beckham statue in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco.  The real Beckham will not be there but they’re hoping an under clad silver statue will entice.

Starting Thursday, August 19th, the David Beckham statue will make its rounds and those who pose with it will get the chance to win prizes, including ten pairs of signed David Beckham underwear.  We’re not sure if any man would want to wear signed undies from another guy but hey, we love this promotional stunt nonetheless.

To win prizes, simply snap a photo of yourself with the statue and share it on Instagram using the tag #HMBeckham.  You can even win one of 100 mini David Beckham statues.  The contest ends August 31st. Cities you can check out the statue include:

New York City:

                        South Street Seaport

FlatIron, 5th Avenue & 23rd Street

Fifth Avenue between 58th Street & 59th Street

H&M Store at Lexington Avenue & 59th Street

H&M Store at Fifth Avenue & 51st Street

H&M Store at Fifth Avenue & 42nd Street

Los Angeles:

                        Hollywood and Highland

H&M Store at the Beverly Center

San Francisco:

                        Union Square

Can’t make it to any of these cities? Several stores around the country will have the 10-foot David Beckham statue in store so customers can pose with it.  From August 16th through August 19th, customers have the opportunity to receive 20% off their entire purchase at H&M when they buy an item from the David Beckham Bodywear collection!
