Mulberry muse and indie rocker Lana Del Rey has been tapped by H&M to be its global face starting with a retro Sixties campaign that will be running in fall magazines and billboards. The Swedish mass retailer also confirmed a second campaign that will run in the winter.
The first images of the singer, shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, feature her wearing an angora sweater with hair voluminously coiffed and dark smokey eyes. H&M will also release a minifilm featuring Lana singing a cover of “Blue Velvet” on HM.com come September 19th. An edited version will run on H&M television commercials.
