Well tickle me fancy and get me to London stat! Karl Lagerfeld was in London town today to unveil his new menswear line Karl Lagerfeld Paris Man, diffusion line Karl, and Olympic-themed capsule collection Selfridges. Since we couldn’t be there, we had to stalk some of our favorite Tweeps for the up to the minute coverage. The limited edition Olympic-themed capsule collection, sadly, is not available stateside but I’m sure we can convince some of our lovely friends across the pond to score us a gold collar – yea I’m talking to you Emily Johnston.

The Kaiser arrived to throngs of media, bloggers and fans wearing his signature black and white get-up. VogueUK tweeted this picture (above) saying, “And the man himself, @KarlLagerfeld, has arrived at @Selfridges followed by crowds of fans #KARLXSelfridges“
How sweet it is to be loved by Karl? Even the macaroons were Karlified, according to ElleUK:

Whether you nab gold, silver or bronze, the Olympic-themed Karl Lagerfeld collars are winners in our book. Along with the collars are a white leather jacket and a blue jean, both with gold, silver and bronze paint splatter all over them. The line retails between £95 and £325, or $148 and $505.
