I’m a huge fan of Koh Gen Do products, particularly the Koh Gen Do Chiffon Lip Gloss, which I’ve been using religiously since discovering it at Barney’s New York last year. I just caught wind of a new balm from the Japanese beauty brand called the Oriental Plants Moisture Veil Balm. Until this spring, the Moisture Veil Balm was only available at Koh Gen Do’s Tokyo salon, but now American customers can get the products at Barney’s and KohGenDo.com.

So what does this new Moisture Veil Balm do? It soothes dry, irritated and lackluster skin.  It is composed of a blend of jojoba seed oil, squalene and shea butter for hydration, perilla seed oil and avocado oils for moisture retention and antioxidants.  That’s not all. Thirty-six botanical extracts help to boost radiance and a more youthful appearance to the skin.  Koh Gen Do’s Moisture Veil Balm is currently available for $55.
