Runway to Win: Fashion Designers for Obama Re-Election Campaign 2012

March 22, 2012

Fashion has had a love affair with Barack Obama since his first bid for the White House. With Anna Wintour leading the pack, many designers have embraced the first black president of the United States and his ultra fashionable wife, Michelle Obama, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for his campaign.  For the 2012 election, over 20 designers have created limited edition election memorabilia dubbed Runway to Win, to raise money for the President’s bid for a second term.

Hoping to bring their customers into the Obama campaign hoopla with their designs are Diane von Furstenberg, Rachel Roy, Altuzarra, Jason Wu, Rag & Bone, Vera Wang, Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs, Marchesa and Tory Burch, just to name a few.  There is something for everyone in Runway to Win collection.  The products run the gamut from polo shirts, tote bags and scarves to nail polish from Le Métier de Beauté and more.  Items range in price from $40 to $95.  Feeling the hope hype once more? You can show your love the fashionable way.
