I became a makeup junkie in college with a huge obsession with MAC Cosmetics pigments. I would use my weekly paycheck from my work study program to buy lots of colors on eBay so I could try the latest beauty trends. Splurging on MAC and other high end cosmetic brands ended when I discovered Milani cosmetics in 2002 at CVS. With a wide array of makeup to match darker skin tones, I became a Milani addict. The best part about it was that the products were affordable. With products under $10, I could buy lots of eye liners, shadows and blushes to try out without fear of going hungry until my next paycheck.
For spring 2012, Milani is launching some new products that have me really excited. There is the Haute Flash, a new shimmery lip gloss; Shadow Eyez 12-hour eye shadow pencils, chunky pencils that glide on easily, providing pigmented colors; Eye Tech Extreme; Total Lash Cover Mascara with a Three Zone Brunsh; an illuminating face powder; and a new fast-dry, one-coat formula nail product.
