Lady Gaga headed to Harvard yesterday for the launch of her Born this Way Foundation, which was founded to empower youths to embrace who they are, promote tolerance and inspire. The singing sensation was joined by Oprah Winfrey for the launch event and though we commend both for their work, we’re really here to talk about what she was wearing.
Gaga kept her look a bit more conservative for the occasion, wearing a simple black, sleeveless peplum dress by Rhode Island School of Design graduate Sally LaPoint with a struturally pleasing A-line coat by Prabal Gurung. Perched on her head was a black meshed fascinator. Kudos for her lady-like ensemble, which included cat-eye shades and mesh tea length gloves. We would have been even more elated had she added a strand of peals, but that’s wishful thinking on our part.
