Princes of Prints: Peter Pilatto Fall 2012 Review

There is nothing more satisfying like a designer who can give me a good print.  Peter Pilatto and his partner Christopher De Vos Origin took their fall 2012 collection aquatic with scuba silhouettes and futuristic prints so decadent and daring, one can only wonder if they will be able to top this off next season.

The ‘Princes of Prints’, as I have dubbed Pilatto and his partner, aren’t afraid to go where others dare go with explosions of color and psychedelic prints that actually work whether on the catwalk or the sidewalk.  Slim pants got supped up with digi-prints for an ultra modern aesthetic.  Come fall, the cold weather will not be as frigid in sculptural parkas and technicolor fur.  To top off this stellar collection were pointy-toed shoes designed by Nicholas Kirkwood.
