Object of Desire: BE&D “Big City” pump silhouette sneaker

I’m not a sneaker girl but for these BE&D’s “Big City” pump silhouette sneakers, I would be a convert.  The white lace-up sneakers have a pink high heel silhouette painted on the side to give the illusion of heels. The shoes retail for $128 a pair.  If some brands can make Hermes Birkin silhouette bags chic, so can BE&D. Thoughts on these shoes?
