A bride’s special day isn’t complete without something old or something blue. Before her nuptials to Edward Cullen in Breaking Dawn Part I, Bella Swan was proposed to with an old ring belonging to Edward’s mother. It is described in the book as:
“Nestled into the black satin, Elizabeth Masen’s ring sparkled in the dim light. The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold — delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.”
Two brands have recreated Bella’s ring for the masses. First up is Infinite Jewelry Co. which has created a dazzling ring closely resembling the description of Bella’s ring. It retails for $39.99 and comes in a very wide range of sizes for any fan of the movie. The ring is shown here in silver but it also comes in gold.
The second is Hot Topic, which has stocked countless Twilight Saga memorabilia since the beginning, with an oval shaped silver ring with dozens of pave cubic zirconia stones. Though this ring doesn’t have a gold band, and doesn’t really resemble the description of Bella’s actual ring, we love the antique aesthetic. It retails for $28, making it the perfect stocking stuffer for any Twihard.
Bella’s something blue come in the form of a hair comb described as “a diamond comb with blue flowers inset into the pattern.” With side braids in her hair meeting in the back to form a bun, this blushing bride (literally and not for long…) walks down the isle gets beautified by her soon to be sister-in-law Alice Cullen for the nuptials.
Of course there had to be a replica of this diamond hair comb. Hot Topic also has it in stock and it sure is a beauty. The replica looks exactly like what was used in the movie but costs a lot less. For $28, you can get the hair comb, which comes with a blue velvet box. I can think of a few people who might want this comb in their lives.
