Black is slimming and always en vogue, which is why I opted to rock the Newport News Beaded Sleeve Dress to several late night parties last night.  The dress, made of rayon, jersey and spandex knit was uber flattering and the perfect dress to wear on a warm fall evening.  I kept my accessories to a minimum with my long Carolee pearl necklace, worn across the hip instead of traditionally around the neck.  I got the idea from the Rebecca Taylor Spring/Summer 2012 show that showed earlier in the day.  Around my wrists are bracelets by Express, Bulgari and Charlotte Russe.  I’m wearing a new lip color by Maybelline and DermaBlend makeup.

I accessorized with nude sling back pumps by ShoeDazzle, which were so comfy. I was able to dance the night away without slipping them off.

Spicy Candy DC bloggers Kat and Carla flank Glamazon Diaries guest editorial assistant Kate Morandi and friend Jill Owens.  Kat is wearing a Unix dress with a sheer overlay cape (shout out to the illusive Natasha) and Sam Edelman leopard pumps and Carla is in a vintage Christian Dior shop circa 1980, which she bought in Washington, DC. Take note ladies, vintage lives in our nation’s capital.
