Stylist June Ambrose’s Must Haves for Jet Setting

August 18, 2011

I caught up with celebrity stylist June Ambrose at the launch of Betsey Johnson’s second fragrance Too Too at Milk Studios last week to dish about fashion week, color blocking, shoes and most importantly what she has in the works.  Ms. Ambrose, a staple at all the hottest events in the city, does not disappoint when it comes to showing off trends of the latest season.  Looking fabulous in pink trousers, a black shirt and an orange Zara blazer, she really showed off what color blocking is all about.

We asked Ms. Ambrose, a jet setter who flies to exotic locales to dress clients and scout the latest trends, to reveal her must haves for looking chic while traveling.  What surprised us most about her must haves was Neosporin, which she puts under her nose to prevent getting sick  while in the air. Check out the rest of her picks below.

Clarins Sunbloock
Rose water spritz
Tom Ford sunglasses
Big Marc Jacobs Straw Hat
Givenchey Nightingale Trolley
Neosporin for under the nose to prevent getting sick during flights.
Michael Kors Rubber Sandals to wear on the plane so that her feet don’t swell.
I love traveling in Isabel Marant cotton jumpsuit.
My iPad
Turbans – a signature – to keep her hair under wraps
