[Recessionista] Lucky Brand Eyewear

August 20, 2011

On my list of “don’t leave home without it” accessories are my sunnies, which vamp up any of my outfits no matter what it is and most importantly, protect my peepers from the sun’s damaging effects.  Unfortunately, I tend to leave my sunglasses everywhere and never retrieve them.  For example, I lost my first pair of Ray-Ban wayfarers in the dressing room of Neiman Marcus in Tysons Galleria last year and never got them back. Bummer!  The $130-something puppies ruined my entire day and made me cry a bit.  Since then, I’ve learned to buy sunnies that are chic but don’t break the bank.

One of the brands that makes durable and ultra fashionable  sunglasses is Lucky Brand, which offers an array of styles, colors and shapes for both men and women. More importantly, each pair of Lucky Brand sunglasses will cost you less than $100 with many styles ranging from $35 – $80.  From Jackie O inspired shades to avaitors, wayfarers to fun oval shapes, the sky is the limit when it comes to deciding on which pair to rock.  Check out some of my favorite looks here.
